STATEMENT OF FAITH & DOCTRINES
DOCTRINAL POSITIONS
-The vantage of our teaching-
Sanctity of Life
We believe that all life was created by God, deliberately and intentionally, not the result of cosmic accident. We believe human life is made in God’s image, and as such has infinite value at any stage of life, from the moment of conception to the final breath is released, and no man, woman, or child’s value stems from productivity or usefulness to society. Every soul is a reflection of his Maker, and his life should be regarded as precious in the sight of the father.
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations
—Jeremiah 1:5

Male & Female
We believe there are two human sexes: male and female. This is objectively observable and Biblically defined. There is no distinction between sex and gender, and never will be. Yes, it is that simple.
But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
—Mark 10:6

Marriage
We believe that the Lord created marriage as the foundational human institution, comprised of one man and one woman in a permanent, monogamous, sexual union. Marriage is an earthly image of Christ and the Church, and of the harmonious union of the Trinity. It is the foundation of all human societies and of the church. We believe that men are commanded to love their wives and to sacrifice for her, while wives are commanded to respect and submit to their husbands. As wives submit to the headship of their husbands, husbands submit to the headship of Christ. Such creates happy marriages and godly homes, and we believe the evidence shows this true.
And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
—Matthew 19:4–6

Sex
We believe that sex was created by God both as a tool of procreation and as a joyous union between husband and wife, an upright and moral pleasure when shared in the context of marriage between one man and one woman, and only in this context. All forms of sexual activity outside the union of marriage are unacceptable and sinful in the eyes of God, and while they can be forgiven under His grace for the believer, they are not to be embraced, accepted as practices, nor continued under false doctrines of grace-as-license-to-sin. Sex is not to be desacralized or trivialized, but is a sacred component of the marriage union.
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
—Hebrews 13:4

Homosexuality
We believe that “homosexuality” (and all synonymic terms, old or new) refer to the act of sodomy, which is an abomination before the Lord. The world has redefined this idea in recent decades to be something one “is” rather than something one does, and in doing so, changed the culture’s view of sex and sexuality. The world has equated sex with love, and claims that the Bible outlaws love between two men, where the truth is that it outlaws sex between two men, and likewise with women, by extrapolation (along with all other forms of fornication).
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
—Romans 1:26–27

Domain of Men
We believe that God designed the sexes to function as complementary, that man was made in the image of God and that woman was made to be his help-meet, a precious and beloved counterpart on earth. We believe the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the Church, and that such a headship is a noble responsibility, not a license to rule however he desires. The husband bears things so that his wife does not have to. He is charged with loving her in kindness, gentleness, and grace. Husbands are to protect and provide for their wives (and children), and lead them in Truth and Faith, for he will one day stand accountable not only for his own life, but for how he led his family. Original sin is ascribed to Adam throughout Scripture, not Eve, for the husband is responsible for guarding his wife's heart and is her rightful spiritual head and leader. A husband is not more important than his wife, and in a sense, less so in regards to his duty to lay down his life for her sake, just as Christ did for His bride, the Church.

We believe the dominant gift of men is to draw lines and hold them—lines of doctrine, truth, order, and when necessary, literal lines of defense of one's home and country. Men are competitive and aggressive, traits to be honed and tempered into controlled strength. Their nature is not to be loving and tender, which is why Paul exhorts and reminds them to behave as such, especially towards their wives. We believe men are designed and intended for discovery, exploration, embracing the unknown, slaying the monsters of life and not only providing order to his community and home, but proving his worthiness to lead a family. He is build to tame the wilderness and ultimately to be builders. Men are not the head of the home but of the family.

Watch he, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity.
—I Corinthians 16:13–14

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
—Ephesians 5:25–28

Domain of Women
We believe God designed men and women with distinct domains, both essential to human existence, equal in value and in dignity, but separate in roles. We believe the Home is the domain of wives, not to be imprisoned to it but to hold blessed ownership over it, its management, and its happiness. Outside the home is the primary domain of husbands, to labor and provide for the home and family. In so doing, both will find earthly fulfillment to such extent as earthly lives might, but there is no true joy or fulfillment without a saving relationship with our Creator through Jesus Christ.
We believe women are not to teach Scripture or hold authority over men in church, but are placed under the spiritual headship of their husbands, who are to be the keepers of doctrine in their family.

We believe the dominant gift of women is to nurture and knit the family—to be bearers of children and blessed companions to their husbands, counterbalances to their husbands and trainers of their children. Their nature is to love, not to be inherently reverent, which is why Paul exhorts them to behave that way, especially towards their husbands. It is also why Paul describes women as typically easier to deceive, which we believe is the counter-side to the strength of women, which is to be more naturally compassionate and tender, and one reason why doctrinal headship is given to mean, to be the more naturally skeptical and hard-line of the sexes. We believe women are designed to create home, to make it a place of beauty, respite, love, and warmth, a heritage of family faith to their children. She is built to establish family and ultimately to be keepers. Women are not the head of the family but of the home, and thank God we have women in those roles. Men would be lost without them.

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
—Titus 2:2–5

Children
We believe that Father and Mother are the fulfillment of the purposes of the two sexes, that it is the joyful culmination of their maturity as people. We believe thus that children are blessed gifts from the Lord, and blessed is the couple who bear them. They are crafted by God in His image, ordained to exist and from the instant of conception onward are human beings, harboring infinite value and worth as ones made by the hand of God. They are ours neither to discard nor prevent, and even when conceived in tragedy or suffering, they in themselves are a blessed and precious gift. We believe that the Church exists (in one part) to take care of those in need as a testimony of God’s love on this earth, and we have an honorable duty to protect those most vulnerable in life.
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
—Psalm 127:3–5

Baptism
We believe in the sacrament of Baptism. It is a symbolic act that represents the dying of our old selves, the cleansing of our sins through Christ’s shed blood on the cross, and the resurrection into a new life with Christ. Baptism itself does not save one from sin, but is an act of obedience, a public declaration of a changed life and altered eternity, not entirely unlike the Old Covenant practice of Hebrew circumcision: an outward sign of inward submission to Almighty God.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
—Acts 2:38

Communion
We believe in the act of remembrance that is communion. It is done in recognition of Christ’s sacrifice for us, His body broken and blood shed on our behalf. There could be no substitution for sin without the shedding of His precious blood, and the practice of communion is performed by the local church as an act of humble memory of what He did. It does not cleanse us, nor saves us, but it is also not to be taken lightly. We are to approach communion with a clear conscious among the brethren of believers or not partake at all.
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
—I Corinthians 11:26

Eldership
We believe churches (and ministries) should be elder-led, a hierarchy we see in the Revelation of Jesus Christ to St. John under the headship of Christ at the right hand of God the Father, and this is likewise evident in Paul's letters to Timothy, as well as elsewhere in Scripture. Our ministry is likewise elder-led to keep everyone involved accountable and Christ-centered.
Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
—I Timothy 5:17

The Church
We believe the Church is the global body of those who have given their lives over to Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. God alone knows the heart. We believe the local church exists as a necessary gathering of believers to primarily worship Him and secondarily to edify the body of believers. The church is called for this purpose, while individuals within the church are called to specific works the Lord set aside for them. Believers should be a part of a local body, so long as there is a Bible-believing, Gospel-preaching church within distance, and if not, they ought start one.
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
—Hebrews 10:24–25

Race
We believe that all men are created equal. No man, no woman, has or can have higher or lesser intrinsic value, as all are made in the image of God. Neither can one’s productivity, contribution(s) to society, nor quality of life determine or alter the value of one’s life in any way, for only God alone can and has established it. We believe people more naturally “identify” with like-minded people, not people who merely look like them. We believe that carving up society based on group identities is inevitably destructive, as it makes moral assumptions—good or bad—based upon race or sex or even vocation. The Lord deals with individuals and with nations, not with ethnic groups, save for the bloodline of the Messiah stemming from the Davidic line, for even the Israelites welcomed ethnic outsiders such as Ruth or Rahab because of their faith in God.
And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
—Acts 17:26

The Dominion/Cultural Mandate
We believe that the Lord intended men to find wives, have children, build communities, and cultures. While there are exceptions on the individual level, this is the broad intent of His design and it is commanded in Scripture. We are to be fruitful and multiply, and subdue the earth and care for it. This is commanded and explicit in design. We have a responsibility as citizens to follow the Lord’s commands towards our neighbors and build communities under His lordship to the best of our ability. Furthermore, we believe it is within God's mandate to own property, especially land, to make us caretakers of it, to be stewards of what He has given, and to mature a man and his family through that stewardship and responsibility.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
—Genesis 1:28

Education
We believe that education is primarily the responsibility of parents, that fathers are the spiritual head of the family and are responsible especially to teach their children history (particularly history of the Lord’s work on this earth) and ensure that children are raised in the faith. We believe education should be Biblically founded, raising up generations in a total Biblical worldview, though we do not believe in a single approach for all children. Parents know better than anyone else how to educate their children, especially better than the State.

For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments: And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God”
—Psalm 78:5–8

Spiritual Warfare
We believe man is a trinity in the image of God—we have a mind, a body, and a soul. All three are linked together and affect one another. We believe that spiritual warfare is a real phenomenon, that prayer has very real power (on the part of God’s response, not our power in praying), that God can and does still intervene miraculously, that miracles themselves are, by definition, breaks in the natural operation of His creation.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
—Ephesians 6:12

The Flood
We believe the world was flooded approximately 4,000 - 5,000 years ago, in totality, as a result of the sinful depravity of man having spread across the globe, to all but one man—Noah, and as a result of the corruption of Creation by the incursion of angels having children with human women and bearing a race of abominations. We believe these are the “gods” of many of the world’s religions, and man retained a cultural memory of them after the flood was sent to cleans the world and begin anew. The Lord spared Noah and his family, and from those eight survivors, all contemporary humanity sprang. We also believe that the physical evidence left in nature far more clearly points to this global event as a singular catastrophe than it does to eons of time passing by happenstance.
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
—II Peter 2:4–5

Science & Scholarship
We believe the scientific method is probably the most useful tool man has ever created to discover how creation operates, and that through its use, we can build and create and discover. However, science can only answer operational (“how”) questions, not ontological (“why”) questions, and not moral questions ("ought"). Science can only observe matter and energy, and since all things spiritual (including God, angels, the soul, the mind, etc.) are neither, science cannot observe them and therefore can draw no direct, empirical conclusions about them, but is limited to its spheres of observation. Science does not stand opposed to religion, rather springs from it, if not Christian then from the scientist’s other previously held beliefs.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
—Romans 1:20–22

Evolution
We believe that God created the world in six days of light and dark, not in millions of years or more, and we firmly believe that the physical evidence of nature supports this. We furthermore believe that Evolutionary Theory is the most ridiculous, asinine, unscientific, and malicious idea to ever gain ground in scholarly circles, second perhaps to Marxism (which is inextricably linked). We know that Scripture is demonstrably incompatible with the idea (despite attempts to reconcile them), and that there is a necessary link between Evolutionary Theory and the Godless beliefs in collectivism, gender being nothing more than a social construct, abortion, homosexuality, and other such rampant practices deemed sinful by God in Scripture. We believe that man is to hold dominion over nature and animals, not to be degraded as being animals, and that the world was made for his use and habitat, purposed for God's pleasure and glory.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
—Genesis 1:1

Apologetics
We believe we are commanded and expected to contend for the faith, not to be passive as souls are continually lost for a Christ-less eternity. Apologetics is no less evangelistic than witnessing through the miracles of the first century, and that reason is a method of communication used not only by Saints like the Apostle Paul, but God Himself on many occasions. There exist different tools for every job. The mind is as much a part of us as the body or soul. Paul performed miracles for the Jews, since they demanded signs and wonders, but reasoned with the Greeks, since they honored reason and logic. Both are needed. We believe the Western world, being a society that values intellect above almost anything else, is unsurprisingly engaged in a battle of the mind, and we are to raise up our children equipped to defend the devil’s attacks. Apologetics and arguments do not save anyone’s soul, as only the Gospel can do that, but we are nevertheless expected to present an answer for the reason for the truth that is in us.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
—II Corinthians 10:4–5

Government
We believe God created government for the betterment of man in the state of a fallen world, to be His tool for justice, to punish crime, and create stability on earth. We believe that we as believers are to obey human governments as established by God. We also believe that when a government has opposed its own purpose for existence and becomes the enemy of the very people it is designed to protect, it is our moral duty to appeal to the higher authority of the Lord and oppose such government overreach, and that it is Scriptural to do so. Furthermore, we believe that all forms of government that steal from the labor of the people in order to establish a false “equity” among the people (i.e. socialistic and communistic) are anti-Biblical and atheistic in origin and intent. They enthrone government as god, endorse theft, and encourage covetousness among man.
